Just Another Day

College is not what I expected it to be at all....I never thought I'd be this happy :) High school simply does not compare. Each day I have something to look forward to, classes are for the most part only mildly boring, and I find that most the time I cant stop smiling. <3 LIFE IS GOOD

Insomnia

Shadow puppets glide across my wall.
Its silent, yet noisy as well.
Bright lights shine out my window.
If sleep will have me, only time will tell.
Stars are blacked out on this busy city night.
Not one do I see across the darkened sky.
Thoughts continue to haunt me,
and I know should I sleep I’ll dream of your eyes.
And if I do fall into the world of dreams,
there’s only one thing I wish to take.
If I can have but one last dream of you,
that’s what I want if I should die before I wake.
